چکیده
In the effort to find a balance between mechanical properties of self-healing styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) compounds, before and after macroscopic damage, study based on use devulcanised tire residue (dGTR) as reinforcement has been carried out. Two full factorial designs their analysis variance (ANOVA) were used overcome challenge relating multiple microstructural variables dGTR compounds in pristine healed states. The design experiments (DoE) predict that dGTR-based reinforcements, with decrease network density higher than 50%, enables incorporation more 40 phr reinforcing filler, increasing tensile strength state (more 4 times) mitigating its negative effect healing process. Experimental tests have validated these theoretical predictions. This research demonstrates it is not necessary control selectivity devulcanisation Therefore, demonstrated only by surface breakage possible incorporate significant amounts from simple recycling processes order improve performance high value-added formulations, such materials.

Effect of carbon black and fly ash co-fillers content on mechanical and thermal behaviors of styrene butadiene rubber compounds
Fly ash (FA) is produced as a waste byproduct during the burning process of coal in thermal power plants whose cost is primarily associated to cleaning and transportation. It possesses mechanical properties on account of its constituents like silica and alumina. The use of FA as filler in styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) was of researchers’ interest to reinforce and/or to reduce product cost. In ...

A review of the literature and an update that is in progress of a previous retrospective cohort mortality study of the styrene-1,3-butadiene industry are discussed. The follow-up has now been extended from April 1, 1976, through December 31, 1981, for plant B and December 31, 1982, for plant A. The person-years at risk of death have gone from 34,187 to 43,341 in plant A and from 19,742 to 26,31...
متن کاملThe Rheological Behavior of Wheat Starch Particulates Filled Uncured Styrene-Butadiene Rubber
This study treats one important aspect of starch-filled rubber compounds which is their rheological behavior. Starch-based SBR1712 masterbatches resulting from various formulations were prepared using a mini two roll mill and an internal mixer (Plastograph Brabender). The content in starch was varied from 0 to 50 phr. The effect of starch content on the rheological behavior was ev...
متن کاملEffect of Styrene–Butadiene Rubber Latex on Mechanical Properties of Cementitious Materials Highlighted by Means of Nanoindentation
In this paper, micro-mechanical properties of styrene–butadiene rubber (SBR) latexmodified cement pastes identified by means of the nanoindentation (NI) technique are related to macro-mechanical properties of SBR latex-modified mortars obtained from standard test methods, considering an SBR latex/cement ratio varying from 0% to 20%. For this purpose, the average value of the hardness and the so...

Ceramifiable styrene-butadiene (SBR)-based composites containing low-softening-point-temperature glassy frit promoting ceramification, precipitated silica, one of four thermally stable refractory fillers (halloysite, calcined kaolin, mica or wollastonite) and a sulfur-based curing system were prepared. Kinetics of vulcanization and basic mechanical properties were analyzed and added as Suppleme...
